2027 Chevrolet Corvette Z06
The 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has been announced for Australia and New Zealand, featuring a build-to-order model that allows customers to personalise their vehicles with exclusive colours, forged wheels, carbon-fibre components and the optional Z07 Performance Package.
Power comes from a hand-assembled 5.5-litre naturally aspirated LT6 flat-plane-crank V8, producing 475kW and 595Nm, with an impressive 8,600rpm redline paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The MY27 Z06 features an upgraded three-screen cockpit, including a 14-inch driver display, 12.7-inch infotainment screen and 6.6-inch auxiliary touchscreen, alongside enhanced performance technology and Chevrolet Connected Services.
Available exclusively in the 3LZ Coupe configuration, the 2027 Corvette Z06 is priced at AU$299,990 in Australia and NZ$309,990 in New Zealand.
Customer orders open on October 1, 2026, with production scheduled to begin at GM’s Bowling Green Assembly Plant in January 2027.
General Motors Australia and New Zealand has today announced the pricing and specifications for the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, bringing the highly-customisable, track-bred, naturally aspirated Z06 experience to local customers.
Powered by the hand-assembled LT6 5.5-litre naturally aspirated V8, the Z06 delivers 475kW and an 8,600rpm redline, combining its high-revving performance with the new three-screen cockpit and expanded performance technology – including Chevrolet Connected Services.
This announcement follows the launch of the MY26 Corvette Stingray and E-Ray, as well as the limited-run MY26 Corvette Z06 Bathurst 12 Hour Special Edition.
The 2027 (MY27) Corvette Z06 3LZ Coupe is priced at $299,990 in Australia and $309,990 in New Zealand.1 It will be offered exclusively through a build-to-order model, with every vehicle built to a confirmed customer specification. Customers can personalise their Z06 with new exterior colours, forged wheel designs, carbon-fibre elements, racing stripes and the Z07 Performance Package, with other additional options.

The MY27 Corvette Z06 exclusively through a build-to-order model. Every vehicle will be built specifically to a confirmed customer order, allowing customers to select their preferred combination of exterior colour, wheels, brakes, roof, stripes, interior finishes and performance equipment.
The extensive factory option range includes:
Ten exterior colours, including three new exterior colours for MY27: Pitch Grey Metallic, Admiral Blue Metallic and Roswell Green Metallic
New Z06-exclusive 20-inch front and 21-inch rear forged wheel designs in polished, gloss black, pearl nickel, carbon flash and carbon-fibre finishes in visible carbon fibre, carbon-flash painted carbon fibre and visible carbon fibre with red stripe
The Z07 Performance Package, including a carbon-fibre high swing rear spoiler amongst other carbon fibre aerodynamic components, performance suspension, upgraded brakes, Michelin® Pilot® Sport Cup 2R Ultra-Performance tyres and other track-focused equipment
Carbon-fibre ground effects, a carbon fibre or transparent removable roof and an engine appearance package including carbon fibre close out panels, LED engine lighting and a red engine cover option

Naturally aspirated V8 performance
At the heart of the Z06 is the hand-assembled LT6 5.5-litre naturally aspirated V8, featuring a flat-plane crankshaft, variable valve timing and dry-sump lubrication.
It produces 475kW at 8,550rpm and 595Nm at 6,300rpm, with an 8,600rpm redline. Power is delivered through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission with a Z06-specific final drive ratio designed to enhance acceleration.
Z06-specific chassis and drivetrain features include Magnetic Ride Control 4.0, six-piston front Brembo® Performance brakes, an electronic limited-slip differential, forged aluminium wheels and available Michelin® Pilot® Sport Cup 2 R ZP tyres.

Ordering and availability
Customer orders for the MY27 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 open from 1 October 2026. Production is scheduled to commence at GM’s Bowling Green Assembly Plant in January 2027. Delivery timing will depend on individual vehicle specifications and production scheduling.
