- The 2027 Nissan Murano lineup has been revised, with the entry-level SV trim discontinued, increasing the starting price to $43,990 before destination fees.
- A new Dark Armor trim joins the lineup at $46,990, featuring black exterior accents, 21-inch wheels, panoramic moonroof, Bose audio, ambient lighting, and premium interior upgrades.
- All Murano models continue with a 2.0-liter VC-Turbo four-cylinder engine producing 241 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.
- The 2027 Murano also gains a new Snow Mode while retaining advanced technology and driver-assistance features such as NissanConnect with Google built-in and ProPILOT Assist.
The 2027 Nissan Murano Dark Armor amplifies the crossover's curb appeal with a sleeker, darkened exterior treatment. Murano Dark Armor wears gloss black 21-inch wheels, and features sporty bumpers and lower side molding. Completing the transformation are gloss black Nissan badges as well as Dark Armor badges on the front door panels. Dark Armor is offered only with Graphite interior upholstery, and a choice of six color options: Gun Metallic, Super Black, Scarlet Ember, Everest White, Boulder Gray with Super Black roof, and Everest White with Super Black roof.

The 2027 Nissan Murano continues to delight drivers with a refined blend of sleek design, powerful yet intuitive technology and a spacious, richly appointed interior.
Murano's extensive list of available technologies includes ProPILOT Assist 2.1, allowing attentive drivers to take their hands off the wheel for freeway driving; Google built-in, with Google Maps, Google Play Store and Google Assistant right in the vehicle's 12.3-inch infotainment display; massaging front seats; available 3D Enhanced Intelligent Around View Monitor with full 3D rotation, Front Wide View and Invisible Hood View.
The 2027 Nissan Murano introduces the new Dark Armor trim, positioned between the existing SL and Platinum versions. Despite its dramatic name, the Dark Armor is not an armored vehicle and its appearance is not entirely dark. Instead, Nissan gives the crossover a more distinctive look through unique exterior details and styling elements designed to make the Murano stand out from the rest of the lineup.
The new trim also adds a more upscale character to the Murano, combining its bold styling with a range of comfort, technology, and convenience features. The Dark Armor is aimed at buyers who want a sportier and more distinctive version of the 2027 Murano without stepping up to the top Platinum trim, making it an interesting new middle-ground option in the lineup.
Murano is proudly assembled4 at Nissan’s Smyrna facility in Tennessee and was named Best Midsize 2-Row SUV for the Money in the U.S. News & World Report 2026 Best Cars for the Money awards. It was also designated a 2026 Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) TOP SAFETY PICK+5.
